Kat and I attended the Daddy/Daughter Dance in Augusta, Georgia, in 2002. I don’t recall the exact date, but I think it was sometime in February.
2001 Dec. 25 Yule in Abbeville

Teresa won backstage passes to Three Doors Down in Spartanburg at the Memorial Auditorium.
2000, February 14 – Engagement
On February 14, 2000, I asked Teresa to marry me. I proposed at Ellis Bistro in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She said “yes.” 🙂
2000, July 8 – Carowinds First Date
In 2000, I met the love of my life for the first time. Teresa and I ‘met’ online through a dating app. Our first face-to-face date was at Carowinds, an amusement park near Charlotte, North Carolina. My daughter Kat accompanied us. By the end of that date, I already knew that I’d marry her someday. Then, on October 31, 2001, my prediction came true.
2000 June, Belmont Inn
In 2000, I was the Food and Beverage Director of the Belmont Inn in Abbeville, South Carolina. This is me behind the bar.
