Black Mountain, North Carolina
Black Mountain, North Carolina, was always a favorite road trip for the family when we still lived in the Carolinas. One of our first trips together as a family was to Black Mountain during a snowfall. We had hot chocolate and walked around in the snow, enjoying the holiday lights.
This particular trip was with Kat. We stopped at several scenic spots on the way to take advantage of the photo opportunities.
We stopped off at the UR Light Retreat Center, but it was closed. We did get a photo of the dome, though.

(unfortunately, it closed in 2011)
